Join us for an unforgettable 3-day birdwatching tour in Serrania del Perija, where we'll have the chance to spot some of the most unique and elusive bird species in Colombia. Our tour begins with a ride up to the Páramo de Sabana Rubia at 3000 meters above sea level, where we'll start birding at 6:00 AM. Here, we'll search for the Perija Thistletail (Asthenes perijana), Perija Metaltail (Metallura iracunda), Perija Starfrontlet (a new endemic for the Perijá), Perija Antpitta (Grallaria saltuensis), and Perija Tapaculo (Scytalopus perijanus). As we make our way down to our lodging, we'll continue birding along the way, arriving at the accommodation between 12-1 PM for lunch.

After lunch, we'll venture out from 2:30-3:00 PM to bird a fragment of forest near our lodging, continuing our birdwatching adventure.

On the second day, we'll continue birding in the morning until lunchtime, before departing for Valledupar at 2:00 PM.
